About us
Raising a dog successfully can be quite challenging, especially for first-time dog owners. Our mission is to provide free dog health information and product selection guidance for the most important topics – our goal is to improve animal welfare.
Our dog health information articles provide information to dog owners about how to care for their beloved pet in the most effective, efficient, and humane manner. We also provide product guidance – figuring out what dog products to use is a daunting task, with so many product choices and companies available. On top of that, buyers have to weigh countless criteria such as quality of ingredients, ingredient proportions, the life-stage of their dog, the reputation of the company selling the products, etc., before making a choice.
Our dedicated personnel includes a Veterinarian on staff, and our objective is to provide the most up to date and unbiased dog information and product guidance that is available. We’re committed to helping our readers make informed decisions about their dog’s health and lifestyle, all while raising broader questions about animal welfare and wellness.
Our following has grown over time and we’d like to share our gratitude, and further increase awareness about the importance of animal welfare. We’re announcing a $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to an exceptional entry. Two runners up may get $250 each. You can find scholarship details below.
About Your Essay
This years essay will be a reflection on the words of Jean Baudrillard, a contemporary post-modern philosopher and critic of industrial treatment of animals, who posits that the treatment of animals is in many ways a glimpse into how humans may one day treat each each other.
